Perfluoropropane (C3F8) is a colorless, nonflammable gas that is slightly soluble in water. It is a low pressure liquefied gas at room temperature, with low chemical activity and good thermal stability. It decomposes with combustible gas to produce toxic fluoride. It can be used in semiconductors etching/cleaning processes.
